TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING STUDIES
OUTREACH
Here are a list of projects and outreach efforts I currently lead.
Underwater Robotics
Underwater robotics is a large outreach engineering design activity where students from across the state of Utah design, build, and compete with remotely operated vehicles (ROV). See Utahrov.org for more information.
Divergeconverge
RAINY DAY ENGINEERING
Divergeconverge is an outreach effort to provide material and or training to individuals and groups on how to think like an innovator. Visit divergeconverge.org for more information.
Rainy Day Engineering is an engineering book for kids and families, and K-8 schools. It outlines 50 experiential learning engineering activities grouped by engineering discipline. For more information contact Geoff, or to purchase visit amazon direct printing. Here's a link to a sampling.
STEM After school clubs
We offer several afterschool STEM clubs - ranging from coding and programming clubs, to construction and 3D modeling, to engineering design. For more information please contact Geoff.
Tech and engineering in School
We organize technology and engineering students to come to and teach various STEM activities to K-8 classes. They design and teach curriculum based on the Science Core and the Standards for Technological Literacy. Please contact Geoff for more information.
